We were tasked with creating a website for Greenwich Hospital, an organisation that funds support for serving and former serving Royal Navy and Royal Marines personnel, and their families. This included updating their visual identity to create a more professional and modern look, without losing sight of their impressive heritage.
An updated visual identity was key to creating a website that felt more professional and relevant. We paired bold but elegant typography with sharp design elements to create a look for the new site that balanced the old and new. A refined palette of navy, taupe and red gave a nod to the strong links to the Royal Navy.
One of the main challenges was to make it clear what Greenwich Hospital does, and direct users to find the appropriate help for them. We fully restructured the site to highlight their main offerings and focus on the impact they have had – focusing on simple, clear menus and sub-navigation to allow users an instant overview of the organisation's services.
